Hello 2012--Yuletide Reveal

So Yuletide really is fun, I find. :-) I read a lot of stories I really liked. Once again I'll pimp my Nero Wolfe story, Furlough, which I now know was written by Re_White.

I wrote two stories, one as a treat. My treat was in the English and Scottish Popular Ballads fandom. measured_words talked about a fic based on the song Lamkin/Long Lankin that made sense

I knew I couldn't be the only one who cleaned while watching Hoarders! It's the best motivation for overcoming laziness ever XD

Me: Eh, maybe I don't absolutely haaaaave to clean the stove right now...
TV: [shows stove completely covered with disgusting brown goo]
Hoarder Person: "I don't know how it happened. I just sort of started letting things go..."
Me: O_O Uh. On second thought, I think I will clean the stove today. Also, everything else.

IKR? There is just no better show to watch when you're cleaning. It also helps you decide to throw things away that you're not sure you'll use.

Okay, last night I couldn't sleep and I was like:

OMG I have so got to watch Hoarders. That's what I need to get me motivated!

Then I watched it and I was like: D: OMG what did I just see?

(Seriously, though, it was fascinating. And definitely motivating!

Ha! I love that show. It's totally one of those shows that you wouldn't understand why people watch it but it's got hoards (ha!) of us fascinated by it. Who knew a show that often featured mountains of poop could be so entertaining?
