Legally, I can make a "backup" copy and I have found nowhere that states a backup copy must be made prior to the original being stolen.
Besides, if I have the original jewel case with all album inserts, how fussy can they get? (rhetorical question. don't even think about answering that...)
*looks at stack of 12 CDs to be burned to hard drive and groans* Feh. There's more on the shelf I'm sure. :( Heh. The bizarre thing is that my freakin' Xmas music is already on there. Very glad to hear that you can "replace" the stolen CDs.
Yeah...I have all of my holiday music, even the ones that they didn't get (they were on the kitchen table for several months--at least they finally made it home from the office!)
