Because I was the one awake this time last year, and it doesn't seem to fair to do it again. And I really don't want to be awake while the damn protestants are in our church. And--
[A haunted quality enters her voice.]
...Do you remember what those guides said? About how different versions of the same person sometimes come here? And they usually don't remember being here before?

There was a another version of Father here, and Enrico, and you. I was the only Iscariot when I arrived here; it stayed that way for months, then you all started arriving... and starting on Christmas Eve, you all left. [The corner of her mouth twitches.] It... was a really bad time for me.

[Slowly releasing the hand, she leans away from Heinkel, forward in her seat to pick an open notebook from the coffe table.]
Well... I guess I should start for bed...
[Clipping a pen over the top edge of the book. In Yumie's pointy handwriting, one might see "YUMIKO - GET A LOCKSMITH FOR THE CHURCH THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!" written in large letters with smaller notes scrawled beneath.]
...why did you come over, anyway? Not that I mind...

Thanks; I'm sure Yumiko will really appreciate it, too, if you want to help prepare for the masses.
[The smile transforms into a smirk.]
Maybe in the morning you two should go over well before the Protestants show up, and make sure there's as much Catholic paraphernalia and imagery on display as possible. Make sure they remember exactly whose church they're in. Mm, I'm writing that one down.
[Unclips the pen and scribbles it, the pen slipping from her fingers toward the end and landing near Heinkel's feet.]
Oops. Can you hand me that?
