At what age do children stop waking you up thoroughout the night? It's too early to hope for with a newborn, I'm sure, I'm just wondering how long this will continue.

I doubt my state of my mind's been helping things at all. I try to seem happier around Alex -- none of this is his fault -- but it's truly difficult. Why does he have to look so ( Read more... )

they make tv movies like this, curse day (affected), "it’s a boat it’s a bug it’s ours" curse, my life as a babymama, angst, wtf, hellsing: the next generation, crack is whack, like a bad fanfic

It depends on the child, really.

Is he colicky?

If he's somewhat bloated in the stomach and unnaturally fussy... ah, if you brought him to the hospital I could see...

Would you? I don't really know what's normal... this wasn't something I'd been prepared for at all.

((OOC: And Isane will be having a sock brought to her.))

In your case hopefully midnight. I am told it varies from child to child.

John kept me up all last night too.

It depends on the child, but I know my little brother Dan would keep me up at night too after mom died. So... it's gonna probably be a while.

[ooc; this is me... with no kids... making stuff up... *sweatdrop*]

I should have thought as much, I guess.

Congratulations on the birth of your son. I saw the picture you posted to the network; he's beautiful.

((OOC: It's okay, I have no idea either. XD))

Thank you so much! Your little Alex is adorable as well! Do you think they may be friends as they get older?

I'm afraid... that his father isn't nearly as excited about him as I am... it was sudden and all... but I haven't seen or heard from him since I told him yesterday...

Thank you! Normally I would prefer him to socialize with other Catholics, but it's not like there's much of a selection here. I don't see why not.
