I'm still wondering about it all. He says he didn't mind the dogs and freely gave pats and tolerated "leans" when they happened and though he did pull away when they came to the table fur further attention he says that he's fine with them. He hardly spoke to them at all. Okay, so during the course of a texted conversation I asked him whether my dogs were a problem, his response was "Noooo dogs were fine. No dramas at all" But I believe that after a couple more dates if there really isn't some connection between them then there wont be further down the track. Because when these two go to the rainbow bridge there will be more. No two ways about it.
Just re-reading this.. it's so true though, isn't it? You can tell a lot about a person by the way they warm or don't warm to your pets. I love my cat so much and once she crosses that bridge, she will be replaced. Pets are always there for us with their snootboops and kisses and love. Even when I'm a jerk, my cat loves me.
