...I'm halfway done with first drafts for challenge stories, so I let myself take a break for this. Imbolc is either today or tomorrow, depending on how one celebrates, and it's one of my favorite holidays. I think I also managed not to screw up the diacritics this time.

I went back and forth on this one because of Brighid, because I'm never sure about putting deities in stories -- I'm always afraid I'm not doing them justice, especially the ones I feel especially drawn to, like Brighid. So I'm delighted that my portrayal expressed Her well to you.

I've been thinking of being a professional fiction writer for many years -- there are some skills I really need to develop first, though, like the ability to plot. ;) Most of the stuff I have written, traditionally, has been very character-oriented, establishing a mood and showcasing a few character traits and then leaving it at that. But someday -- !
