This has been half-done for... geez, a couple months -- but I was inspired this week to finish it up. It's one of my shameless it-doesn't-make-much-sense-but-I-like-it-anyway-because-it's-hot pairings ( Read more... )

length: fic, [fic], genre: smut, genre: f/f, character: elena, character: tifa lockhart, rating: not worksafe, genre: action, fandom: final fantasy vii, pairing: elena/tifa lockhart

Oooh yay. Yay for femslash and girls who rough each other up without hair-pulling and biting.

This fandom - and every fandom, really - is sorely lacking in the femslash department, which makes me go "buh?" because at the very least you have Tifa/Elena, even if it's only hatesex. Mmmm, hatesex.

Thank you!

There should definitely be more femslash. If/when I do the Aeris/Cloud/Tifa/Zack OT4 of Doom, I'm going to make sure I don't ignore the relationship between the girls, for that very reason.

Plus it's just hot.

Oh. nice. I like how Elena's full of tricks and resistance and weapons, mmmm. And I like how they both just kind of hit a breaking point and bond over somethign that obscurely links them together beyond the ongoing battle between AVALANCHE and Shin-Ra. *purr*

Thank you!

Elena amused me because she was such a freaking Turk the whole time. And Tifa's got to be running out of patience always being the positive one...

Yee, that was fantastic! I love the rhythm of the language you used for this, it seemed to really fit the tone and Tifa at the same time. The descriptions were dead-on to me, from who she likes and who she doesn't and why. And it makes a lot of sense for someone like Tifa to not be at all comfortable with the Turks going good when they're really not, they're just a slightly lesser evil, and nobody said you ever had to like it.

Also, sex. I can't write girlsex to save my life, there's never enough of it, and I'm so glad you're around to do it for us. <3! Really just yay. So yay.

Okay, and I know, I know, I play on the Turk side of the fence, so I'm biased, but this line: She makes an exception for Turks because they slide through Edge like they own the place, masked by sunglasses and matching smirks, slippery and cool and uncaring was brilliantly yummy, and the one about Elena learning the alleycat walk from Reno was just plain sex. Sex.

Thank you!

I hadn't really written peeved-as-hell Tifa before -- it comes naturally for Elena, but not so much Tifa -- so I'm really glad to hear the voice worked for you. (And, yeah -- I realized earlier this week that I hadn't actually finished/posted any femslash at all, and that needed to be remedied. and. Tifa. Elena. I'm just shallow.)

The Turks are so completely sexy. Seriously. Even when I'm writing from the POV of somebody who doesn't like them, they're just... *fans self*

Unf. You win so hard, you really do. I love Tifa and I love the limits of Tifa's kindness -- because she's got a kind heart, but everybody gives up *somewhere* -- and I love the wry tone of the beginning and I love the fucking fight and I love that it remains a fight all the way to the end.

...And I love that neither of them loses. ♥

Thank you! I feel for poor Tifa -- she tries so hard to stay cheerful, but she must have a breaking point. And Elena herself, frustrated and pushing her buttons on purpose. (And writing fight scenes turns out to be surprisingly fun. I was sort of afraid of it.)
