I'm happy to have inspired that fab story! What's funny is that both of us not only snatched up the same prompt, we both had the same fire lizards mate. What are the odds of that?
I did keep the girls' canonical het relationships, but as open relationships and ignored the age differences (the latter not such a big stretch, as McCaffrey's canonical ages don't work with her canonical timelines.)
Yeah, it was comforting to realize that it wasn't so much that T'gellan was hitting on Mirrim when she was twelve as it was that McCaffrey had completely lost track of the timeline and wasn't sure how old Mirrim or, for that matter, T'gellan actually was. :D
