statement on transformative works

I just read this post about transformative works, and it got me thinking. I hadn't thought of making a transformative works policy, mostly because it didn't occur to me that anyone might want to, but I figure it's better to err on the side of clarity

:D Well, I consider the borrowing of ideas to be totally legit -- and indeed, I eyeroll a bit when people cry foul about borrowing of fic-ideas, since, c'mon, we're all nicking ideas from the original creators -- but I figured I'd throw it in there along with the other bits just so everyone knows.

(And I've already stolen your idea about a Shiva-Siren hybrid as Celes' infusion-esper, so. ;) I've pegged the lorelei as a possible singing, deadly, icy-cold-water being to use.)
