I knew I was forgetting something.

The fic I posted yesterday was meant to be the first story to count toward my Tarot Project, and I was going to mention that in the post, and then I forgot.

Ah, well. I'll mention it now. Cinder and Smoke is my story for the card Strength, also known as Fortitude. The two I referenced were the Golden Tarot

I think I'm going to have to post the tarot notes for each piece as an endnote rather than in the header (both to avoid cluttering the damn thing up and because it wouldn't surprise me if revealing the card was kinda spoilery), but it's interesting to think of the ways that the symbolism and themes interweave with each piece. And I hope in encourages to broaden my themes/tones/etc. a little!

I decided to do it, and then I entered a ficwriting drought. ;) But hopefully the drought is over, and I can make some progress on the project!
