I've probably got the timeline all screwed up on this, but. Happy International Women's Day. Have some Hawkeye in Ishbal.

This is really interesting. I love all the character work you've done here; exploring Riza's protective role, Havoc's experience, and having the three of them interact in Ishbal as a means to explain the way their relationship functioned later in the series. I'm really fascinated. Excellent work!

(edited for late-night inability to spell >_<)

Thank you!

I love backstory-fic, and I really love these three characters, so it seemed like a natural.

I really like the interactions here, and the power of each of the characters: the way they can all bring their own strengths to the table.

Thank you!

The whole set of military characters (well, most of them, anyway) makes me feel like that. I love how different they are; I want to poke them to see what makes them tick.

Great characterization! I love how you write their interactions.

Also? I love that everyone has his or her own strength. I love how you write Havoc.

The "Hot Damn" and country boy aesthetic to him is just great.

Wow. I love this. Great job at writing the characters as younger, and showing the bonds between them developing. The way you ended it was clever and satisfying, with Mustang looking out for his own in the little ways. Lovely story.
