Cool car, and cool dude lounging on said car! Is he a minotaur or some other mythological variant? I've been working on an illustration of a Ghost Wind horse, which sounds like it would fit in the universe you describe very nicely.
Thanks =D Do you watch Supernatural? It has vampires, werewolves, ghosties, modern urban myths and demons but it uses a wide range of cultural myths and beliefs, not only a general Christian/western one. It reminded me a lot of the books by deLint whose world is so eclectic and tangled and it's probably why I like it so much. There's a lot more room to play with this world than say a show like Charmed, with their very structured world. He is the car, or the 'spirit' of it if you gave it a vaguely human shape. It's a bit complicated to get across in a picture but he kept sitting inside my head looking miserable so I had to draw him.
No, I haven't seen Supernatural at all, and it sounds like something I'd enjoy. How long has it been on? (Gave up TV for Lent about oh, 6 years ago and so I only typically see shows on DVD anymore.)
I've always loved the idea of cross-combining multiple mythos. The fox in my icon here is a Japanese kitsune, or magical werefox. She's trouble, pure and simple.
I understand about characters wanting out of one's head. Mine do that all the time. :) Can the car self-repair? Sounds like the sort of car Crowley would enjoy (from Good Omens).
I thought I'd ask so as to not confuse you =D I have been downloading the episodes, the series ended on a very traumatic note last week. Big old cliffhanger. The way it's shown on TV here is terrible, there are adds every five minutes, so I try to avoid TV anyway.
I've always liked that kind of thing too, I've just crossed over the cannon from the books to the series cannon though, the car is so far as I know just an old beloved family car. Though I'd love it if it could self repair.
I'm certain Crowley would like the car, he might not like the drivers though. They're not fond of Demons.

Thank you.
Baring music, is there anything that isn't cool with that car?
