The first time she meets her happens in the dirty human city, with the hot sun of Austin slowly setting beyond the horizon. She's perched at the top of the apartment complex, legs dangling dangerously over the edge of the building and Aradia is there, watching her.
"Hello," she says over the city noise, and after moments of no response, Aradia wonders if she heard or not; she's about to try again when the woman's head turns, shades glinting in the dying sunlight. The woman doesn't speak, but merely pats the concrete next to her in invitation, and that's when the god-girl flits over, wings fluttering in a way that's as surreal as the setting and the people in it.
They don't speak, not for quite a long time, and Aradia is patient. She doesn't know what'll happen in this encounter and it's strange because normally she does know, through predictions and glimpses in the future; but this is different and this is a dream bubble with someone who is from a completely different world, a completely different universe and this would-be
