Well, one of my friends(?), hmm not sure if he is a friend yet since I never met him, is currently visiting one of his favorite countries, Thailand. As I read his journal entry, it made me realize I missed New York City very much

I grew up in NYC... went to college and graduate school there... but no longer miss it. I do agree that it's a great city for many reasons. Personally I think that anyone who is serious about their career would do well to work in NYC for two years - the pace is electrifying and it rubs off in a very positive way.
