That's a tarantula - no doubt! ;-)

I could cure my spider-phobia by watching "Sterns Stunde über Spinnen" - no joke!
There were such interesting details about them, it is really fascinating! Nowadays I don't kill them, I take them out in a glass!
(being very proud of myself, but now I'm afraid of heights...)

Hah! I'm so glad they are only coming in miniature sizes here, then! ;)
And yes, up to a certain size, I can deal with them nowadays, and my parents keep telling me, that I had no fear of spiders at all, when I was little.
They are fascinating, but also scary! *g*

Oh! LOL! I just noticed your icon!

Yep - maybe Freud could help! ;-)

Well it must be some kind of insanity to be afraid of such little animals - or of heights...
(Hmmmm.... but maybe better, if we would deny any access to our mind from professionals...)

Sounds lovely, but then, we only get snow rarely here, so it's a treat.
This year El Nino is keeping it nice and warm.

Oooh - Spring. Lovely! Ours started - then got snowed on - then started again - and now it's getting rained and frosted on. But I still see daffies peeking out from the soil so I don't think it's giving up. :)

Thanks for sharing those photos - very warming as it's -2C here at the mo. Brrrr!
