The way I see it, if two people meet in high school or whatever, fall in love, get married, are together faithfully for 40 years, and then one dies in a car crash, what does that mean? The one left behind gets no love of that kind for half of their life? No. Someone else will come along, if they want one to.
I'm a practicing Catholic. But I'm a very... open-minded one. I'm aware of the problems organized religions pose, but I'm more interested in my relation to God than what other people think I should be thinking. So the answer is kind of both.
I wasn't raised with a religion. It's weird, because when I was sent to lived in Alabama for awhile, and they're very religious there. And then Keystone. But... I've always known what's going to happen to me when I die. And I've met gods and agents of God, and... all of that seems so alien. But it doesn't mean I don't have faith, you know?
I bet it was strange, suddenly being thrust into religion like that.
Faith is... it's different than religion. And I think more important. Religion tells you if you don't follow these specific teachings, you're going to a bad place. I don't know that I feel that way. I think God is forgiving, and if you're a good person, you'll be fine. That's faith.
Hmmm. Good point. I just took it to mean have you ever nearly died.
In His own way he does. Never directly. But when I ask Him for guidance, a way of knowing I'm doing the right thing, He sends me someone to the Center, or something like that.
Thank you. I'm suprised no one's questioned if all I said could be true but there still could be soul mates. Example: Say my mother was my father's soul mate. The one person he was meant for. If down the road he got married and found happiness with someone else who is NOT Emma Frost it wouldn't negate what he had with my mother, but would it be as good? As right?
I'm great. Getting stuff for my niece, keeping busy with work, seeing all my friends. I'm very happy. And I'm coming to visit you again. You're going to get so sick of me.
Oh I don't care! Come see me ALLLL the time. You're her AUNT okay???? That makes you family, chica. I am never ever going to get sick of you, and you can see your niece whenever!!
You'll be the first person I call if I ever need a babysitter :p
I will be the first person to show up if you ever need a babysitter! Unless I'm at work. Cause well, you know. But up all night so you can get some sleep I am so there.

Are you very religious, or do you just sort of talk to God in an informal way?

Like see what Tabby said up earlier? THAT'S God talking back. Letting me know the Center is doing a good job. At least that's how I see it.
