I don't think the visigoths or goths made it to Ireland, IIRC the "Gothic" ideas that arrived in Ireland were victorian gothic.

If it wasn't the Visigoths it may have been the Ostrogoths. Or would that be the O'Strogoths? But I never heard of Goths in Ireland. So I should stop blethering, as I really haven't goth a clue.
