About 700-800 women and 200-300 men (just a wild guess) listened to Canadian novelist and poet Margaret Atwood last night at Varsity Hall at UW-Madison's "new" Union South. We actually exchanged two lines of dialog. She was quite a good sport signing all those books and letting people take pics. Makes me proud to pretend to be Canadian when we have a Repugnican as POTUS.
