stayed overnight in the Phoeix area (Tempe) with temps apporaching 120, had a great visit with K, the new bride and we're getting ready to start the last long leg of the journey home to MI. This road trip has once again caused me to wonder at the size and variety of environment in this country.

yeah, it was plenty warm -- have made it into New Mexico tonight -- a bit cooler -- awww a Tempe love story that led to the Shannon we know and love today ;) -- what part of the east coast? I have a cabin I've been working on, and will be back to later in the summer, in western MA
