Title: "You Can Never Get Away From Where You've Been" Author: westenralane Theme: just_keep_on's meme one-shot Genre: Drama/Angst Version: AU - What If? Rating: PG-13
I’ve been remiss! I completely didn’t notice this under my spazztastic spazzing over SNSD ^^; Apologies~
But oooooooooooh, I like it~! I know I’d specifically requested Ami and Beryl but gosh, you made it work so well. It was only until I’d reread it did I catch the the link between Beryl’s disgust about dust and her being turned to dust (“dust to dust”!! You get so many points!!!) and I absolutely love when a piece is like that, that rereading only adds upon the previous experience <333
I loved the first paragraph. The description of the Moon, the utter hatred Beryl had for it, her thoughts about her Generals (though now I feel bad, because I have to ask what the “little spell” she’s referring to - is it simply the one that put them under her control or was there something else she did?)
When was the last time someone had branded her so politely?I love that wording. And I love the idea of Mercury being “darker, bolder” than Serenity - certainly had to be in order to do what she was going to do
