But I still can't help wondering how much of the crew were on drugs during the making of this episode. I think it's safe to go with all of them. The mutants turned into bowl-haircut-men wearing disco ball robes. Drugs has to be involved.

I agree that this arc was a bit longer than necessary, but what can you do?

Notes (and I made a concerted effort to write more of them than I have been lately, so brace yourself):

Are they mutants or are they just humanoid aliens? What's with the Roman costumes?

I knew the box was going to be for Kai. They said his name waaaay too much for him not to be the most important character ( ... )

Is it just me or could the Martial be a twin for one of the Slitheen? I keep expecting him to unzip his forehead.

YESSSSS. I hadn't thought of that before, but IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE.

It's kind of awkward when the bad guys aren't/aren't controlled by the Master. It's like an episode without any UNIT peeps.... Oh, wait.

Aw, Jo and the Doctor are sometimes really adorable.

NEUTRONS DON’T HAVE POLARITY, THREE. YOU ARE A FAKE SCIENTIST.

SHUSH, DOCTOR WHO SCIENCE IS FLAWLESS. DON'T RUIN IT.
