The new Ellowyne dolls came out this past week and I'm sad to say that I find all of them pretty boring. I'll save my final judgment for when I see redressed pictures but I don't think my opinion is going to differ very much. I'd like to know what happened to Prudence. Where's all her hair streaks and uniqueness? The past two Prudences have been

Ooh, I hadn't known there was new Wilde Imagination stuff! I, too, am not especially fond of any of the new offerings, though. I kind of like the new wigged Ellowyne, but I don't think I like her enough to buy her. If she looked like she does in the picture when you first go on the website, however, I'd be pretty much powerless to resist her. lol I'm a sucker for ghostly dolls.
Desolate Dreams does have gorgeous eyes. There really aren't enough green-eyed dolls out there.
I, too, do not get the Blonde Prudence. At all. She's supposed to be this crazy, quirky character, but the last two dolls have been just plain boring. I hate to see the unique dolls get stripped of their uniqueness.
Congratulations on Chill! I know you've been dying to get her. I'm sure Louki will be thrilled to see another Chill on our Friends Page. hehe.

The way they photoshopped the picture in the front page does make her look ghostly. I'm still not sure whether I like her or not. I keep going back to her so that might be a bad sign. It's like I like her but then again I don't, heh. I don't know if it's my imagination but she looks a bit skinnier than to other Ellowynes to me. It might just be the dress. Yeah, the fact that they seem to be toning Prudence down disappointments me. Just because some of the more 'conservative' collectors were complaining about her hair streaks doesn't mean that they should give into them. Jakks Pacific did the same thing to the Juku Couture dolls.

Thanks ^_^ I'm sure my Chill will love to see Louki and all your other dolls too. She should be coming next Tuesday so I'm going to sneak a peak at her. I'm using the excuse of checking to see if she's broken, heh.

I don't understand why people are so afraid of dolls with hair streaks and things like that. If you want a blonde-haired, blue-eyed, conservative doll, go buy a Barbie. Or if you want a Prudence without hair streaks, buy the wigged one and put a solid colored wig on her. There's no need to stop producing the character the way she was meant to look.
Don't even get me started on the new Juku Couture dolls. Every time I see them I'm just like "What the hell happened!?!?!" lol
It's rough having a doll in the house that you know you can't have just yet. I got Abigail for Christmas last year, but she actually came in mid-October. Knowing the doll I had wanted more than anything for 3 years was in the house but I couldn't see her for about 2 months was absolute torture. heh. It was worth it in the end, though.

Yeah, I don't understand what's the big deal with the hair streaks either. It's just hair it's not going to come out and bite you. I think some people just need something to complain about.

Wow, the two months or so waiting for Abigail must have been hell, I can't even imagine. Especially since you've wanted her for so long. I think after a (short) while I would have been going crazy and yelling "Just give me her! I'll pay for it all I don't care. JUST GIVE ME HER!". As you can tell, I'm not the most patient person. lol.
