The Curse of our Craft

I've been reading Johnny Depp biographies for a little while now, and I'm not a biography person. But of course, for Johnny I'll make the exception. But I find the more I read about the man, the more I wish he'd put out an autobiography, simply because I'm getting really tired of listening to other writers portray him as a crazy man with some ( Read more... )

I absolutely agree about your opinion on art. It's always irked me how all these authors label Johnny like that and make him out to be a weirdo who just got lucky.

And OMG, your fic! I can't WAIT to see what happens next! (Well clearly, I know what'll happen, but still.)

Great job. :D

I find it incredibly annoying when people label Johnny as a "weirdo". I mean, yeah, he's different, but it's not something he's meaning to be labeled as. He's just doing what he's feels is right. People can nitpick all they want, but Johnny's the one who can rightfully laugh in their faces...

And goodness me! Edward catching The Hatter and Mr. Wonka?! That's a time when I would like to be with Edward. Golly me, the way you write these three men. They've got these incredible endearing qualities I can't get enough of!

*is excited for the rest of the fic*

Most amusing lines, "Mother would be proud...but that's not the point" and "I am not a librarian and we are not in a library, so speaking is permitted, if not agreeable, I think" -

I agree with you on the art; what's funny is that someone else mentioned people calling JD a weirdo but he also refers to himself like that. *lol*

I admire him because he isn't afraid to take risks. It inspires me to write different characters. :)
