So after a fairly long dry spell (with the occasional burst of inspiration that allowed me to get
Triangle finished and kept me poking periodically at a sort of prequel for
_silverfox involving Gabriel and Bast at the Festival of Bubastis; it involved loads of research but is mostly done and I'm trying to figure out how to wrap it up), my creative juices are

I'm excited about the exchange, too, but keep changing my mind about whether to fully participate or just offer to pinch hit and see whether I'm actually wanted for it. So worried people would be happier with their fic, if anybody but me wrote it ...

Don't be silly, Fox! I think it was the 2009 exchange, when you did a lovely fic with your version of Gabriel, and when Aziraphale returns to Earth he finds snake-Crowley sleeping in his tartan sweater? I LOVED that fic, it was amazing and sweet, and bear in mind I had no idea who wrote it at the time. I would be VERY happy if by some chance you ended up being my gifter. <3

Yes, that ought to have been 2009. ... And it was cute, but I'm not sure the writing was any good, and I think the 2010 one with choosing your prompt had higher expectations.
I wish I knew whether we'd need three prompts again, or just one. I thought of three a few months ago, thought it was a perfect combination (1 historical, 1 perfect for artists and 1 pretty much free to interpret depending on the writers' speciality) ... and now I can only remember the historical one! Why didn't I write them down!

The writing was more than good. I honestly did love it, it was very sweet and well-written and I thought it was a refreshing take on Heaven, too. I didn't participate in the 2010 exchange as I had exams, but it seemed complicated and I can only hope that I don't mess something up this year! (Aw, you should have jotted them down. I know the feeling though!)

w00t! Nice to hear your muses are feeling frisky. *feeds the plotbunnies* And thanks for the reminder of GO_E. I gotta remember to sign up for that this year even though I haven't always had good luck with it, but anyway... *would like to try again*
Haha, I laughed out loud at Gabriel's expression in the second pic. XDDD
Michael's shoulders should be broader
Hmm, his shoulders are pretty well-proportioned to his head, but how about trying to make his neck a smidge wider? Because it's skinny, it sort of gives him a "scrawny" look which works better with, say, Gabriel than on a buff warrior type.

They were. They've calmed down a bit, but I think I can pull them out of their corners if need be. :D The bunnies are grateful.
It's a very typical expression for him if Michael's around. XD As is fond exasperation and maybe a hidden smile, but I can't draw that very well just yet, I think.
Gabriel is giving you a Look at the suggestion that the scrawny look works for him, though I'm giggling. And I have to agree, his neck certainly should be wider. D: I will work on that next time.

It's so funny. I like how Gabriel is looking out of the picture at the image-viewers as if to say "Do you people see what I have to put up with?" XD
*pats Gabriel's shoulder* Well, you're not exactly a manly angel, are you now...? XD

EXACTLY. XD *pats Gabriel* You know you secretly love it, dear. XD And Michael reminds me of a big puppy, trying to get Gabriel's attention. <3
... oh my GOD, his FACE right now. *dies laughing* He's just going to take deep breaths, force a smile and stalk off, while I point out that his PB is very accurate when it comes to the level of muscle definition (he's not as muscled as Michael but it's definitely there), and in my head he does have fairly broad shoulders and a strong jaw. Of course, despite the strong jaw he actually has very feminine lips... *hides* (I've given up on trying to draw those because he always ends up looking like a girl)
