2013 Recs Collection Post
We'd like to spread the Sirius love far and wide so we want your recs! Pieces recced three times can be sent to the daily_snitch and included in the "Hot Recs" section of their newsletter. The rules for submitting a piece to the "Hot Recs" are as follows:
Hot Art & Hot Rec: New (published within 21 days of submission, or within 45 days of submission for rare pairings and gen) fics or works of art that have been recced at least 3 times in public (not friends-locked and/or filtered) posts (not comments) around LiveJournal, InsaneJournal, or Dreamwidth can be included as a hot rec in the daily_snitch. Mentions in any fandom newsletter or links to stories/artworks without an explanation why they're being recommended do not count as recs. The daily_snitch will link to stories hosted anywhere as long as the recs submitted with the story are posted at LiveJournal, InsaneJournal, or Dreamwidth. Recs posted elsewhere (social networking sites, archives, personal blogs) will not be considered.
Adult-rated fan art must be accompanied by headers stating that the characters depicted are over 18, and such a claim must seem valid to an objective person. Adult-rated fan fiction with headers stating that underage characters are involved will not be included, either.
Submissions should include title, author/artist, possible pairings (full names of characters) and the rating. Works in progress will be recced more than once if there have been at least 5 new chapters since the last mention in the Daily Snitch. When sending recs, please include at least three links where the story has been recced.
If you've recced something please comment to this post, putting the name of the piece that you're reccing in the title of the comment and a link to the rec in the comment body. When we collect three recs for a piece we'll send it over to the daily_snitch. We'll include a link to this rec collection post in the weekly round-ups.
