It's past 6:00 am, I haven't slept and I'm not really tired. But I have to be up at 11:00 at most because I have a lunch with people I would have preferred not to see (thanks, mum !), particularly on the first day of the year and last day of my vacation. *sigh* I shall be patient and put a smile on my face ( Read more... )

As usual, your wallpapers are stunning.

The Henri story made me tear up. So cool that he found his family and that they are willing to reach out to him.

I'm glad I was able to convey enough how I feel around Henri to make you feel for him. So many people have a difficult life because of an illness they're not responsible for, it's just fair that life sometimes gives them something back.

I've been even more happy to see him like this because he's often subject to nasty bouts of depression. I already find my depressed moods to be a real pain most of the time, I can't imagine what it should be like to be a real manic-depressive person (?).

I'm so happy you like the Christian one. It's such a peaceful colour, such a peaceful wall. I keep putting it on my desktop each time I need a soothing feeling around. And that pic of Christian is one of those who made me fall for him a long time ago... *drools a few buckets more*

And secondly that story about Henri was so touching! *hugs*

I think one of my favorite moments of 2005 was meeting everyone at EwanFest. Frank and Katie got such a kick out of it too since they have heard about everyone through me for years now! :D

As for your wallpapers... OMG I so love those G&D' ones with the snapshots... they look like a scrap book! :D LOVE IT!! And of course Curt and Aurthor... *swoon* and the first one with the music overlaid over it! FANTASTIC! You are so creative Siriala!! I always love how you see things!

He is a very touching man. Many of us at work got all teary-eyed each time he told us how things went. His story has a fairy tale component. I hope it stays like this for a long time.

I can well imagine that. Once again, it's so great some of us were given this gift of friendship because they were lusting for this incredible guy ;) I hope you'll be able to do it again this year, if it's not too much tiring for you. Maybe in another city, meeting with other people ?

That is a lovely story about Henri. I hope the recovery of his family can bring him some peace.

It's so difficult to predict how one psychotic person's "moods" ar going to shift, but peace is indeed one of the things I wish for Henri.

Your comment makes me all warm inside, it's particularly touching to see how powerfully you react to the VG wall, knowing you're not as fond as me of the C/A couple. I've has this idea in my head for a while but only came around doing it some days ago. I think it expresses well enough all my love for Curt and Arthur.

It's great to know you too were touched by his story ;) I don't dare to hope it will be a "happily forever after" kind of story, but at least he's had the chance to find again his family and his roots.

Of course people like you, some even love you, never doubt that ! As for myself, I've appreciated every time we spoke together and hope we'll do it often again in the year to come ! ;)
