Yeah, my work has an "off-shore facility" (read: outsourcing) in India. Every so often, we have to send someone there. The amount of medical prep work that takes place beforehand is nuts.

There is an upside, however: one of Indiana Jones' most memorable scenes can be directly attributed to dysentery.

Definitely don't eat the salad. I hear horror stories about the salads.

That book you sent me was very thorough about its warnings. If you have one yourself, you should also read up on the travel scams that might be perpetuated against you. It seems a lot of people think that if you have money to travel, you have money for a lot of other things too, and they should relieve you of some of it.
