Modteam has decided to stick with the same app system we used for September for the coming cycle, and reserves will reopen with a cap of 100 on the 15th of the month, with apps opening for reserves-only on the 1st of November, and any additional app spots open on the 2nd of November.We have an event to toss out at you that

Does high-power high-skill telepathy count? Emma is going to be highly motivated to try to help this situation if there's any way she can. Nightmares are not good for her household. (researches)

Canonically, Generation X 22 features Emma talking to an entity called Nightmare who rules a dream realm, which pretty much establishes that Emma can go there on purpose but cannot take anything physical with her.

Whether or not this is close enough to work, if you get any takers with more specific powers, I totally sympathize with giving them top or sole billing.

In nightmares? Sabes has been there before, Emma has done mental housekeeping. He shows up again, even by proxy, she'll probably need to do mental housekeeping again. Sentinels are Emma's personal nightmare. They killed the Hellions. They finished off Genosha. And her primary power, which up to two months ago was her only intrinsic power, is useless against them.

Though I'm not sure whether to submit Sentinels or the vision Nightmare gave her as Emma's nightmare. Mmm ... actually. Sentinels, I think; they're easier to depict in terms that will make sense to non-castmates and castmates will react more strongly. (Yeah, this means I don't submit a nightmare for Menolly. Menolly's are tame anyway.)

If she can lucidly project herself into other people's dreams, you might want to check with player permissions to log out some interference during the event?

The NPC responsible for 'triggering' the event is in fact a strong telepath herself, and will be shielding herself, since the dream projection will be largely a defense mechanism in overdrive. However, you are welcome to play with dreamwalking powers during this event if the ability would typically allow for that. Just keep in mind that these are horrific visions and it won't be a stroll in the partk, and that especially for those high psychic sensitivity, the onslaught of nightmares will be coming from an entire city's population, which is likely to be a bit of an overwhelming scale.
