After last night and getting merely more than two hours of sleep, Jack wasn't too sure he'd be of any use to anyone; much less to a sparring partner. Personally, he kept up a very strict training regime, being used to nothing else - working out frequently was routine for him, just as much as honing his skills. Despite his admirable stamina, though, after two days without sleep, even he had to buckle a little. That didn't mean he wouldn't still try his very best, though, because he knew how disappointing an uninspired training partner could be ( ... )

Panting, Jubilee bent over from the waist and touched her nose to her knees. That was much better. God, she'd missed being able to due stuff like that.

She straightened and rolled her shoulders. Then she turned around and jumped.

"Oh, hey Big Boss." Her toe turned off the stereo. "Sorry, didn't hear you come in." Jubilee just grinned, bouncing on her toes. "You finally get some sleep?" She asked, stretching her arms out.

A real gymnastic ball of hyperactivity right in front of him, there. And of course he was used to people not hearing him coming...would be kinda bad if he wasn't, because that would mean he was bad at his job. "Not much," he replied honestly, relaxing his stance and rubbing his neck a little awkwardly - he probably looked like it, too, and that mug of coffee hadn't really helped. "But I'm used to sleepless nights, so don't worry too much about that."

She grinned. He sounded like most of the X-Men. She'd been trained well in the 'don't ask' department. It was why she hardly ever asked Kenny anything about his home. Better for him to tell her, rather than she prod and get nothing.

"Not worried." She assured him. "What did you want to work on?" Right down to business. Her body stilled and all that energy turned inward, ready to be called if she needed.

... Or something. Wow that sounded corny in her head.
