All the same, this weather is rotten. More snow than he's ever seen has already dumped on them, and who knows what else they'll face? It doesn't hurt to make sure everything's all right.
The corridor takes them directly into Axel's apartment. Even with Demyx there, Roxas feels no particular need to knock. Neither of them are in sight, though.]
Axel? Demyx? You guys here?

[He's reading over a report from work when there's the unmistakable sound of a corridor opening up in the other room. Visitors? That's unexpected. Getting to his feet he tugs up the hood of his sweatshirt and pads to the doorway, poking his head out into the hall. And what to his wondering eyes should appear but... a couple of bitties all bundled up for the weather?]
Oh, hey you guys. What're you doing here? [He's not complaining--they're always welcome of course--he's just a little confused.]

[Of course he's alright, there was no real reason to believe that he wouldn't be after all, but it doesn't stop Xion from feeling a big wave of relief wash over her seeing him in one piece and safe and sound.
He still could have texted back.
Jerk.
Xion would take her coat off but she's pretty sure it's actually colder inside Axel's place than it is outside. Dummy, how could he sit in the cold like this?]
We were worried about you, you weren't answering your NV! Aren't you cold, it's freezing in here.

I'm surprised you're not keeping it warmer yourself. Not that it's a good idea to set the carpet on fire, but you've got pretty good control, right?
[ooc: sorry for being so slow! It was a busy week at work and then I had a lazy couple of weeks, but I promise to be prompt with tags from now on. Because this log is lulz.]

[And then he sits on the arm of the couch with a short sigh, he breath clouding the air a bit.]
And sure, I could heat up the whole apartment, but why? [A shake of his head.] That's too much effort--I'd rather just keep the room I'm in warm. [He jerks a thumb toward the hallway.] S'why I've been holed up in my bedroom instead of out here: smaller space to regulate the temperature.
