He had few possesions in the apartment anyway. But he had gotten the most important. A picture of Lu Ten. He always had it close to him, just in case his memory ever failed him. Though in his heart, he would always love his son, no matter where his spirit had gone to.
With some effort and wincing he slowly and purposefully got himself up. He walked across the room, to where there was a table and a couple of chairs and sat himself down. A cup of tea would be very nice right about now.

"Good morning."
The cheery, genderless voice seems to come from the center of the table - where, in fact, the new audio equipment is located.

"Good morning to you as well. The breakfast looks delicious, House. I hope myself and the other guests are not being too troubling for you?" he replied pleasantly in return.

Then he'd gotten here, and it had begun to snow. That was all well and good, but then it started to snow harder, and he was trapped, in a mechanical house. It had been fine in the short term, when he could go out in the day and figure the Port out, when he could explore and try and get somewhere, but he wasn't able to do that, and the tiny, pervasive voices meant that there was a guy who pretty much had holed down on one of the couches, attempting to look social, but it was hard to act as social as he was trying to look when every few minutes, he reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose.

"Really, I promise. I don't need much of anything right now."

On the second day, he is mostly absent, dealing with a deadly emergency he heard in the news involving the Underground Mall. Teleporting instantly to the carnage, he tries his hand as a savior, with mixed results.
On the third day, he spends his time in the available rooms of the House. His possessions are small and meager: his NV, several articles of clothing, and a teapot that he had been pouring when the Towers were attacked. He explores everywhere he is allowed to go, and does so with an intense scrutiny. ]

He peers out at the window, looking at the snow falling down. Oh, how he wishes even Silvanos can be here, sharing Aurican's curiosity and wonder of this world. He touches at the window, creating a single smudge. ]
Quite the establishment.

Why, thank you.
[A demure coo from audio equipment built into the faux-ebony archway lining the doors to the balcony beyond.]

"I am, yes. Thank you." As comfortable as the android could be, in any case. She could be described as a bit stir-crazy, knowing she couldn't get out to protect anyone from the Darkness monsters. Then again, who would be outside in the blizzard? Especially at night. It was risky to human life during the day, to go out in this weather. She was just reasoning with herself at this point.
"Thank you for allowing me to stay here."

The House had never really socialized much with other machines on Home - even the other AIs tended to be rather dull compared to it - but KOS-MOS fascinated it.
"I've never known a machine that was designed to mimic humans before. Humans who turned themselves into machines bit by bit, yes, but not a human-shaped machine to start with. Although I suppose they're more common here."
