It isn't until a good half hour later that Demyx actually sneaks back into Axel's room with a stealth he uses when he wants to eavesdrop on people, taking up a spot on the floor just by his pillow. He doesn't make a move, though.
Something wasn't right. It didn't usually take Axel long to fall back asleep, but something just wasn't right here. He had the strangest feeling he was being... watched. Well that was just plain silly, right? The Castle That Never Was might have had creepy surveillance, but this place surely didn't

He'll keep up the staring until he sits up, and then he grins. To Demyx, that may as well have been a compliment, "And that makes you my babysitter again, doesn't it? Or my big bro or something."
And then he snatches the eyemask from Axel's hands, fiddling with the strap while he figures out just how to describe the thing that was out there. Well. Not really a 'thing'--he knew full well what it was after it was unwrapped.
"Oh, is that so?" Axel stifled a yawn behind one hand, then snapped the eyemask back from Demyx's hands and tossed it onto the night table. "Do tell," he said then, leaning back on his hands on the bed.
"We~ll," he flops onto the floor with his arms straight out from his sides, "I'll probably be sleeping out in the living room for a couple nights like this, for starters. I dunno who brought it, but..." He pauses, tilting his head up to look at Axel.
