Then all goes dark, for about 5 seconds.
Those riding in the front car, prepare to see splatters of something viscous and crimson on the windows, when the lights flicker back on.

Rising with the rest of the commuters, he scans the area with a sharp eye, the splash of red on the windows catching his notice immediately. He's not in uniform (not tonight), but he's armed no matter where he goes.
Lingering to give himself more space, he waits as most of the other passengers squeeze through the doorway like sheep. Something isn't right. ]

For those who move closer, they'll find that it looks no better up close. At what approximates the monster's head is the tortured figure of what only barely resembles a woman, back arched in mute agony and arms bound above its head. It's the only part of the monster that remains constant; the rest is a mass of writhing, seething flesh, tendrils of blood and guts waving in the air. Faces, from time to time, shape themselves out of the monster's body, lips always parted in silent screams-- for those who kenw them, they can be recognized as the faces of its victims. It's far larger than any of the other Viscera, but none of them seem to pay it any heed.
For now, it hasn't attacked-- but surely it's only a matter of time.

Currently, she's feeling rather lightheaded and useless, but rushing after Neuro isn't an option (and she suspects he'd rather throw her into a wall himself). So there's nothing to do but sit tight. ]

Isn't his precious, accursed brother.

We-- [ Meaning, me and that assistant you're so suspicious of. ] --were looking into what was behind the subway murders. I guess it found us first. [ It's a highly abbreviated version of what really happened, and her weak smile suggests she knows it. There's nothing to hide the swelling that suggests broken (or at the very least cracked) bones in her leg and collarbone, and the bruises where Sissel's efforts were enough to save her from a messy death but not from thwacking into various objects along the way. ]
