Of course, Tyrell hadn't been all that forthcoming and, apparently, no one agreed to being a guinea pig when the fate of the city could be at stake. Sheesh. It was like he didn't trust her or something. It couldn't be that much trouble to just give her a few skin samples or some blood to use in her research.

Unless his revival wiped the slate clean. Then she'd just have to deal with an irritable boy.

So Washu had taken to the streets after dark. She was positioned on a street corner closest to the trains, but not so much on top of them, running scans with her computer, her fingers flying over the holographic laptop. Lifeform data popped up and her heart soared, only for her face to fall when it turned out the scan is human.

But what human would be out in the Darkness? She pursed her lips and looked up. "Not much of a place for a walk," she called cheerfully as soon as the woman came into her line of sight.

Broken arm or not, Maya was determined to be here to help out. Her brush-ins with the monsters were still fresh in her mind (as well as some other things she was determined not to think about, so this was a welcome distraction), and the night she and John had encountered one was something she'd never forget. Still, she was going over it in her mind, trying to remember details that would be helpful to Helen.

... And if anything, she'd already ran into these creatures before. So surely she could help out somehow, right?

So here she was meeting Helen at her lab, taking a deep breath before looking around for the woman herself.
