Kyon had decided to stroll around the area alone this time, if only because he knew about Christmas. It was obvious that if he was going to stay here for a while, he would have to get a certain someone a present. He had a good idea what to get her already, but he had to check first if the place even had it to begin with.

Well, there's always a first time for everything, right?

'Damn it,' Kyon thought to himself, annoyed, almost tempted to give himself a mental facepalm. 'Why couldn't I have been given the great gift of photo memory?! At the very least, I would be able to find my way around this place on my own, without Haruhi's help.'

And with that, he'll approach the nearest person (in this case, Naminé), and say, "Yo. Sorry to bother you, but... you don't think you can help me, can you?"
