Who: got_it_memorizd and mirroredmemory When: 10/14, late morning Where: S.S. Kahve and then out. Summary: Two best friends make up for lost time... and memories Warnings: Fluff, probably. ( Let's find peace there )
[In true stalker fashion, Axel has determined Xion's work schedule without asking, so he can surprise her by showing up just in time for her to get off work. Poking his head through the door to the coffee shop, Axel grins as he watches her bustle about the little kitchen area a moment, and then sidles up to the counter. Leaning on his elbow, he gives her an exaggerated look of disappointment.]
[There is a moment- a very brief, heart stopping moment where the surprise of hearing Axel's voice makes Xion fumble with the cappuccino cup she was drying. There's a short, startled 'eep!' and Xion manages at the last moment to stop the cup's best efforts to elude her and catch it safely. She sets it aside, and turns her attention to him.
She's not really known how to play him being back and not knowing her; it's been hard, as all she's wanted is to spend time with her best friend again and to have things the way they were before, but she knows she can't rush it. She won't hurt him again.
She smiles and tilts her head playfully.]
Not yet, but the establishment reserves the right to deny service at any time.
[He grimaces and makes a keening noise.] That's just harsh, Xion; I haven't even threatened to set the place on fire or anything! [He folds his arms together and gives her a curious look.] You busy? 'Cuz I was just about to go grab some lunch, and as I was passing the shop I thought to myself, self, maybe you should invite Xion.
[A grin spreads across his face, and there's something impish about it, like he's got a wonderful secret he can't wait to tell. He does, actually, but he's going to wait for the opportune moment.]
[He waves a hand. He did enjoy mocha, but if he'd really wanted coffee he would have come before she was about to get off.] I'm not gonna make you make a mess and have to clean it up again; far be it from me to make someone do their job twice; got it memorized?
[Waiting for her to finish drying a few more mugs, he twists as she moves out from behind the counter, and then threads his hands across the crown of his head.]
So you've been here longer than me; what's your favorite place to eat? [He looks a bit sheepish.] Me an' Demyx have been getting a lot of delivery, cuz... well, I sure can't cook. Aside from wrapping a potato in foil and throwing it on an open flame, that is. And we're too lazy to go to restaurants most of the time--it's way easier when the food comes to you, right?

Really? I was just gonna grab a sandwich but lunch would be great!
[She shoots him a big smile and puts down her towel.]
If you're offering to feed me it would be pretty mean of me to deny you coffee. What'll it be, unless you think it'll spoil your appetite?
[She's pretty sure there won't be any coffee for him, but she should ask anyway.]
