Summary: Washu celebrates her new career and a step forward in her Port life by officially moving into Szayel's closet. Shenanigans ensue.

Hope that computer picked up the Espada walking up the drive behind you, otherwise your in for a rude shock, Washu. Szayel's just oh so casually strutting his way to Nueva Las Noches, his briefcase slung over his shoulder and the free hand tucked into his pocket.

He paused before her, studying her...

"You're much shorter than I imagined."

It probably could have if she wasn't focusing all her attention on the house- still, she rarely ever got surprised. Or if she did, she didn't make a big fuss out of it. She inclined her head at the sound of his voice and grinned, her voice taking on a childish lilt. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I could be taller if you wanted."

Szayel adjusted his glasses; she could change her body at will? Fascinating.

"That's quite all right," he replied. "I'm already used to looking down so I don't accidentally trip over an idiot."

Poor Luppi; he wasn't even present yet, and he was already being mocked. Szayel offered her his hand after that, looking amused.

"Pleasure to finally meet you face to face, Miss Washu."

She took his hand and grinned sweetly. "Little Washu. And the pleasure's all mine, Szayel."

She rocked back on her heels a little and then tilted her head at him, clapping her hands together like an eager child. "So! How about a tour, huh?"
