She was still barefoot, and trying to herd cats. Literally. Medea and Aphrodite seemed particularly interested in twining around her ankles today. She was about to lock them in her room. Mei, at least, had settled onto his bed in the corner and was watching in canine amusement.
"You could help, you know."
Mei's ears pricked forward, but he didn't move. Typical.
Sighing, she wiped her hands off and headed for the door. "Medea!" She huffed out a sigh. She scooped up her cat, only because it was faster.
"Hi." She opened the door. "Come on in and welcome to the zoo." She said dryly. She put Medea on the floor. "Dinner's not quite ready, so come on in and make yourselves comfortable."

When Mercy opened the door, Harry grinned down at her, glad to see his friend. He'd been so busy with work lately, that he hadn't had much time for, well, much of anything.
Before he could reply to her, Mouse pushed him aside and gave a happy bark, pushing his head against Mercy's hip.
"And it looks like you have one more animal to exhibit," Harry said, handing her a bottle of wine they'd brought.

"Do you need a hand with anything, Mercy?"

"No thanks, Elaine. Just herding cats." She slid a glance at Medea who was purring loudly. "Literally. And Mei's not helping." she waved toward where the smaller puppy was in his bed and had started bathing Aphrodite. He looked up at his name, his ears pricked forward before going back to his very important duty.
Mercy shook her head and took the wine. "How about I open this and get us all a drink? Make yourselves at home."
