They count as lethal weapons in in the United States, you know.

[Kurt feels much better now that he's had some rest, but he's still looking bony and pale. Something about him seems diminished, and he's determined to buy a new wardrobe that will help conceal that. It's a wonderful season for that, really-- Everything was dark jackets and chunky sweaters, things he could layer and experiment with. Shopping really does cheer him up like nothing else can.]

So I hear denim is making quite the comeback. I might try layering it with a wool jacket like this one-- [He runs a hand over what's clearly a woman's coat, but he doesn't seem to care.]

[Franz notices how tired Kurt seems, but he holds his tongue until the appropriate moment - IE, not here in front of a store display.]

Ugh. I don't understand blue jeans. They're tent material, for pity's sake.

[Franz eyes the jacket, appraising it. Kurt's genderbending does make him raise an eyebrow, but since it seems socially acceptable enough here, he doesn't criticize it. While he might be out to get more attention than Franz ever would, he tends to pull off his looks. Mostly.]

It would look nice as a bottom to that jacket - I only ever wear my one pair with a jacket over it. Otherwise it's just too casual. [Though even Franz's most casual still tend to fit the description of 'businesslike'.]

Well, go find your own. This one has been officially claimed by Kurt Hummel. [He plucks it off the rack and drapes it over their arm as they continue walking.]

That's quite alright. I can't find a woman's jacket in my size. I think it's my shoulders - it's sad, really.

[Not that Franz would ever look twice at a woman's jacket and want to wear it, really. He's stopped, instead, at a rather Napoleonic-style jacket, with long hooked buttons, in navy blue.]

No news is good news when it comes to gossip. I've been pretty much busy sort of cleaning up the new place and getting it ready for Daedalus's surprise party on Friday. He's not really one for those sort of things, but I think it'll be nice if it's just family there.

Unfortunately, I don't really get along with all of his family. So there's that.
