[There's no preamble, not even so much as a hello. The man the voice belongs to is standing not far off, sharp eyes fixed on Jason. How long had he been there, watching? Or had he just arrived? It could be either. He's stood still as a statue, hands in his pockets. His expression is guarded, difficult to read. And he's just watching.]

Although I imagine you're too proud for that. Am I wrong?

[Jason spins around quickly from where he's crouched down next to the car, pulling the tire iron off the bolt. He'd been in the process of pulling his third set of tires for the day when he was interrupted. The immediate implications that Jason's pride doesn't allow him to accept help of any kind put the vigilante off from the get-go.]

And I imagine you're a complete jackass. Convenient.
