[Why would Sirius already be there when he could be late? It's maybe fifteen minutes later that he comes strolling down the beach. It's hot, but he's wearing his usual jeans and t-shirt, and he stops only when he's nearly right beside her, looming over her with a grin.

This grin should be somewhat of a warning, but then, she knows that by now.]

And here I thought I'd find you eating soggy bread crumbs or something.

[Unfortunately (for her) she doesn't actually notice him until he's next to her, and lets out the beginning of a quack when he speaks. She twists hurriedly to face him, and then waves her arms a little so she doesn't lose her balance.

After all that's over, she just shoots him a Very Unimpressed Look.]

That's disgusting! [Actually it almost sounds good but whatever.]

[Oh, Ahiru, why are you so amusing? He can't not grin at that reaction, but he's quick to shift his expression into something more thoughtful. Mock-thoughtful, at least.]

And here I thought your sort enjoyed that sort of thing. Oh well, s'ppose I can just keep the bag I have in my pocket, no need to get it out and give it over to you, as it's so very disgusting...

[He doesn't answer--not in words, anyway. Instead, he fishes in his jeans pocket and comes up with a packet of slightly crushed breadcrumbs of various sizes.

He dangles it between thumb and forefinger, all smiles.]
