Who: Ishida Ryuuken (quincy_dilf) and Kurosaki Isshin (isshinkurosaki) When: Backdated to Tuesday? Where: Theater in the 3rd district Summary: Dinner and a movie of which Ryuuken does not approve. Warnings: TBD
Isshin hurried along to the movie theatre, having gotten lost and distracted along the way by a peculiar 'mew'ing sound coming from a rather shabby looking box. Of course, what sits in boxes and mews? Puppies! Five of them! Each a thousand times cuter, cuddlier and all around smarter looking than Godzilla-chan! But, of course, he already had a dog and so these stray box-puppies had to be taken to the nearest animal orphanage (he liked the sound of that better than 'shelter' or 'pound
( ... )
Isshin was late. Very late. It was almost time for the movie to start. But luckily for Isshin, Ryuuken had had a feeling something like this would happen and had already bought the tickets.
"That's alright. I knew you would be." He dropped his cigarette on the ground and rubbed it out before handing Isshin his ticket.
"Yes, let's." Get this over with already. Ryuuken was pleased to see Isshin, of course. It was just that this movie was so...he didn't have the words to properly express his disinterest and dislike of it.
Aw, that was sad. Ryuuken had known he would be late?! How had he known that? That wasn't fair!
He took his ticket quietly, looking down at the text on it, then grinning up at Ishida. Hey, at least he hadn't changed the movie! Isshin stretched out, dropping his arm around Ryuuken's shoulder.
"Since you bought the tickets --do you want a soda, or some candy?" It was only fair, right? Or he could pick up dinner... Yeah, that seemed like a fair trade off!
Ryuuken allowed himself a small smile as Isshin's arm encircled him. He would allow it, for now. In private it would have been less of an issue, but Ryuuken was more reserved in public. Despite the ambivalent attitude toward same sex relationships that seemed prevalent here, Ryuuken remained a little uncomfortable with public displays of affection. It had been hard enough with his late wife, and was even moreso with Isshin. They both held prestigious positions and needed to be models for the rest of the denizens of the city.
"Let's just go in. The movie might have already started." Much as Ryuuken was loathe to see it, Isshin had seemed excited enough. He didn't want Isshin to miss something he would enjoy. Ryuuken could put up with it for his sake.
