Franziska walked down the street where Nelliel had said to meet, keeping a look out at a slightly lower line of sight than usual, hoping to see her friend -- that was, if Nelliel didn't find her first.]

Hi. I'm down here.
[Yes, all the way down there. Nelliel flips open her green starfish-shaped NV to reveal a message she had typed out while waiting.]
"I apologize if I cannot say your name properly. It's hard for me to say the letter 'S' properly with my missing teeth."

That's quite all right, it can be difficult at such an age. Er, in such a body, I meant. You can shorten it if you so desire -- in fact, I give you express permission to do so while you're in such a state.
[Now that her preferences had been stated, her face a little flushed from giving her permission to explicitly allow someone to shorten her name, a tendency she had despised in others when she had been a child herself, she continued:]
So, you're going to need some new clothes while this strange effect remains, aren't you?

[Unfortunately, arguing the point with the squad captain got him landed in his current "punishment": traffic cop. And dear sweet Lorelei it was the most idiotic thing in the world. Walk down the street, check meter. Meter expired? Write summons. Move on. Rise, repeat, ad nauseum.]
This. Is. Stupid.
[He shoved the umpteeth ticket into the umpteenth car. Eff his life. Seriously.]

Asch's voice gets her attention and she toddles up, complete with bag of clothing and her purse.]

...Nelliel?

[It's not hard to guess why he's staring. She supposes he didn't see her earlier broadcast.]

[Guess who's a bit out of touch with the news on that point?]

Well, child form or not, Nelliel is pretty unmistakable. And she had said she would be doing this. She pauses for a moment to watch, then walks over.]

She’s wearing a cute child’s sundress and a pair of running shoes when she turns to greet Raven with a wave from the top of the slide.
Hi Raven! Watch thith!
[Using her (considerably diminished but still present) sonido, she shoots down the slide as if propelled by a rocket, and goes flying several feet in the air thanks to the plastic slide’s slight upsweep at the end. She lands on her feet in the sand, which flies up in a small cloud when she makes impact.]
