Surely when one accidentally wanders into the slums after Sirens, thugs and the absence of protection from the creatures who stomp the grounds as they do at night might be the first thing on one's mind.

And yes, there was a Darkness monster lurking nearby-- same violent disposition, knowing nothing but inflicting violence and taking down whatever light it can find. The only difference, perhaps, was that this one was armed with a Keyblade, and trucking toward Danny at full speed from behind.

Danny didn't hear those footsteps until it was too late. He turned around and his eyes instantly widened when he spotted what was coming at him. He had never seen anyone like that before and they were coming right for him.
