Do you care to see why there is an upside down box in the hall? If you don't, stay and listen; you might hear him muttering curses in Arabic or Russian.]

-the fuck!
[The cat yowls, Tom stumbles back against the wall, it's all very unflattering.]
The hell is this doing in the middle of the god damn hallway.

[A voice comes from under the box after a moment, once he places the voice.]

It's late morning, but he's been up for a while. Routines are important, you know. Especially if you're two pennies short of a dollar. Still in his PJ bottoms and a wife beater, he's standing at the counter, reading the back of a can of coffee. He knows you have to put it in the machine, but beyond that it's a little hopeless. ]

Seated at the couch, she had one leg folded under the other as she was completely focused on the game she was playing -- some shooting game -- sometimes scowling as she got killed in the game and even occasionally muttering a curse or two under her breath.
As she always knew it was better safe than sorry, she had her P90 at her right side, while Combatant Kitten sat at her left side, completely distracted by the bright colors on the television set.]

What is that? [There's a curious note in his voice.]

Oh this? Just a video game. They're kind of fun, I guess.
