Honestly, it didn't take much for Lee to come up with a wish. Being the determined businessman he was, it was all too certain what he would wish for. But at the same time, it wasn't all he wanted granted. It had been years since he had celebrated Tanabata, so he felt a kind of nostalgia taking one of the papers and writing on it in the language he grew up with.

[I wish I could meet someone to fall in love with in this city.]

He chuckled as he added that to his wish for a good business year for Violet Systems. In all his life, he had never really fallen in love. He wasn't getting any younger now, so why not hope for that? Even if that could be a futile dream, it was something to hope for, nonetheless.

[Ohhh wishes of love. They're so terribly common. After watching the man pin it to the board, Kyubey made himself known, tail swishing back and forth lazily.]

[ This wish was written meticulously and neatly, because pens are far too hard to hold with clawed fingers normally, let alone while trying to write in script.

Fratley's put a lot of thought into this wish. ]

I wish to restore the people's faith in the police force.

And I hope that more Newcomers enlist in the force.

[Faith huh? Oh, he's dealt with that before - Kyoko was a good example of that. Even though Fratley isn't human, and as such...wouldn't really contract all that well, he's still interesting.

So - padding quietly toward Fratley, looking up at him with large red, unblinking eyes.]

[ ... What a curious creature. Fratley's own ears perk up, swiveling forward curiously. The odd thing reminds him much of a moogle, for some reason (they're approximately the same size, at least in proportion to him) and so he finds himself leaning forward to meet Kyubey's eyes. ]

There are. It seems the people of Siren's Port wish for many things.

[Nobody saw him write this, he hopes. He's careful not to be seen putting it up. But pinned to the board is now this note.]

[Joe approaches the board while one man is still standing-

He looks at a few, this one stands out, and he smiles, recognizing it as a wish of his own that's already come true. His hand closes over the Soul Gem in his pocket.

Well. Almost. What good is being strong enough, if the person you want to protect most is no longer in the city?

He glances to the tidy stack of colored papers and pens, and writes something down in neat deliberate print. Affixes it with care, and a distant, quieter wish that they would be able to see the stars tonight, in the darkness, just this once.]

[Liquid stands and watches, curious about the silver haired person's smile. His gaze flickers to the note as it's pinned and he speaks up without thinking as he reads it.]

It seems like there's a good chance of it.

[A pause, before he clarifies.]

Your friend returning, I mean. More people seem to do it than I expected.

I know, people do come back all the time.

[He sighs heavily, stepping back to cock his head at the wishing board]

I just...I know that all of us are here now, so there's no one left to be at her side back there. So I don't want her to be alone for long.
