So she walked, with no particular destination in mind. Just open eyes, and a clear head. And a pocket full of magic, just in case.

Now, Neah wasn't one for good deeds, but as fun as it was to simply observe the world, it was getting late and interacting typically promised the same amount (if not more, maybe) of thrill. So, he called.

"Yes? Hello." My. Perhaps she was a bit more distracted than she'd realized, after all.

If she wasn't someone Allen recognized, then Neah felt at full liberty to be a proper gentleman; it would probably end up for an interesting moment down the line.

Allen is friendly. She nods to him and the corners of her mouth turn up in a smile. She won't press a conversation with him, but if he stopped to speak to her she would converse.]

[and then he blinked and the look was gone, replaced with a much more 'normal' smile, a hand raised to give a small wave, indeed stopping for that conversation (something he probably wouldn't have done, if he'd been in his 'right mind.')] Miss Asano! You have somewhere to be?

The smile that comes reassures her, and makes her own smile sit a little easier, too. Maybe Allen is just not feeling quite himself today, or she could easily have imagined the whole thing. Don't get any more paranoid, Rin.] Hello, Allen. I was just going to work...

Almost too late, she notices the figure approaching her from the side of an intersection. Caught mid-yawn, she tries to avoid a collision by side-stepping, nearly falling as her legs get tangled up. ] Sorry--!

Ah! [as she stumbled, tripped over herself, and he reached out with his right hand to grab her arm, try to help to steady her. (the feel of skin was so strange--) his eyebrows were raised, mouth turned down: his attempt at the expression of earnest concern, all while wracking Allen's memories to see if they were to know this girl.] No, don't apologize. Are you alright?

I'm all right. Thank you-- I should have watched where I was going. [ he's younger than she first thought-- the white hair made her think she had just avoided someone's granny or something. ]

No harm was done. You must have somewhere important to go to. [he let go of her arm but didn't step back, quirking an eyebrow instead (and as long as that granny comment wasn't voiced, it didn't exist).]

[but then he turns, a smile on his face that only grows when he spots who it is (though whether it's because of the other's attire or the fact that it was Gilbert couldn't be guessed), voice completely cheery if somehow more adult-like than ever before:]
Gilbert! [and an immediate full-body turn, the start of a few steps to close their gap.] It's good to see you out and about. You look... well.

[dismissive. this was someone who knew the boy extensively, Neah noted; and so either the other would notice or he wouldn't, and whichever way, the Noah was determined to continue to use his time as he liked.]
[he stopped a step away from Gilbert, smiling upward (the height was one obnoxious quality--) and tilting his head just so.] What about you?

[In any case, Allen was hard to miss and her face broke out into a grin when she spotted him in the distance]
Hey, Allen!

[ah, but this was someone Allen knew. and so Neah spread a smile, raised his voice and waved with his one good arm back.]
Maya! How are you?

I'm great! How about you? You're not getting into any trouble, are you?

[blithe, but relaxed; much, much more relaxed than he's ever seemed before.]
I'm fine. Great, actually. What about you?
