He missed them anyway. Not that he would ever say so.
The dojo was easy enough to find, and it was still early in the afternoon when he arrived there. It had been a long time since he had done any kidou instruction, given that he primarily dealt with zanpakutou-based combat. He wasn't the most patient teacher, either, though Neji gave every indication of being apt enough to understand things.
He didn't officially announce his arrival when he entered, instead letting both his and Hyourinmaru's reiatsu speak for themselves; he had no intention of using the sword today, but he liked to have it with him when it wouldn't cause a stir. Openly carrying a weapon was often too conspicuous, and he couldn't exactly conceal it. But taking it with him to a dojo? There was nothing conspicuous about

"Good afternoon," he greeted mildly. "I hope I'm not asking too much in regards to your abilities, but I appreciate your willingness to humor me."
After all, the secrets behind shinobi techniques were jealously gaurded and while Neji had discovered what kidou was through a mutual sharing of information, he had been a little vague when it came to his own techniques.

There were also quite a bit of minutae about kidou that only its specialists understood on a deeper level. And he was no specialist in this area; that was more Hinamori's gift.
... And there he went thinking about her again. She was coming to the forefront of his mind more often lately.
He nodded as a return greeting. "If I thought something was too much, I'd be a fool to share it."
