Who: dancing_pierrot, axemeaquestion When: Forward-dated to tommorow afternoon Where: Various places around the city! Summary: Franziska helps Rochelle with apartment stuff. Warnings: N/A
The more time Franziska spent outside of her apartment with the specific purpose of meeting people she already knew, the less self-conscious she was actually starting to be, without the need for reassurance which usually just reinforced the foolish feelings she'd been experiencing the weeks prior.
It was without her whip and a new pair of sunglasses that she made her way to the coffee shop to meet Rochelle, not wanting to keep her waiting long or at all if she could help it (if the other woman came early, after all, that was her problem and no-one else's). She was punctual as usual as she saw the other woman sitting inside the shop and made her approach towards her.
Rochelle looked up from the information she had printed out. A slow smile spread across her face in recognition and greeting.
"Hey! Yep."
With the wave of a hand, she motioned for Franziska to sit down.
"What's up? I know coffee shop meetings are kinda cliche, but I have a weakness for them," She said with a little laugh.
"Hold on..." After a pause and realizing the mess she had in front of her, she restacked the sheets. "There we go... believe it or not, I actually got it narrowed down to a few places."
Franziska was rather grateful that Rochelle set about with restacking the sheets with such immediacy because looking at them in their previous state of disarray had almost made her want to twitch into action. After a sweeping look around the shop to note which specific places to avoid looking at, she took the indicated seat and removed her sunglasses, squinting slightly as she adjusted to the lightning.
“There’s nothing wrong with coffee shops,” she remarked, “in fact, they’re a rather convenient meeting place before embarking on such endeavours as apartment hunting - providing those who do so with all the essentials they need… by which I mean coffee, of course.” That being said, she took a quick glimpse at the beverage list to check the prices (spelling errors were so much more painfully obvious now), and then dug around in her wallet for the correct change so she could order her drink.
“I’ll take a look at your list once I’ve ordered,” Franziska assured the other woman.
