Someone new come to see me? Yaha resisted the sighs that would slip out of his mouth. It was better to be the prettiest piece of meat in the butcher's shop than to be the one that was least played with. Very few of the slaves seemed to like him given what Roman had done to a few of their comrades. This left the area that they shared together much to be desired ( ... )

Cross didn't know what to expect when he heard the door open. He had no real grasp of what Yaha had been through, having been dead for the majority of it. So, when he saw him walk in, looking thinner than he remembered. His eyes widened briefly, before he almost flinched at Yaha's hand on his face.

And, of course, the pinch that followed. Cross' brow furrowed, but he allowed Yaha to express himself in whatever way he pleased. He obviously had been through a lot, so something small like that was forgivable. After that moment, he gave a nod, then offered Yaha a small smile.

"Yeah, I am," He said simply. "I got revived, I guess." He didn't sound... happy, but he didn't sound too devastated, either. He had gotten most of that anger out the day it happened.

"I wouldn't call it a guess if you are before me." He wished that he could laugh truly for him, but he found that he couldn't. "I can also assume that you are not here to play with me." His head turned slightly to stare at the man for a time -- wondering if perhaps he had come to torture him in some way for having lead him to his death.

He pulled his hand away to lightly poke the other on the nose. Childish gestures that he would most likely not be allowed to get away with the others that would come to see him. Gestures that he had taken for granted before but found happy to be able to carry them out now.

Yaha allowed himself to smile in turn before walking around Robert so that he may take his seat on the bed. He had no intention to stand if he did not have to, after all. Crossing his legs at the ankles, he looked up at his friend. "You still are my favorite knight. But I doubt that you also came to hear my continuous praise at your skills, right, my dear Specialist?"

If Yaha couldn't laugh, Cross would laugh for him. So, he did, but it wasn't anything overbearing. A quiet chuckle and another nod. "Yeah, you're right." Followed by a thoughtful pause, any then, clarification. "On both counts." Cross would never come into a place like this for its real purpose, of course. Actually, if Yaha wasn't here, he would have never set foot in the place at all ( ... )
